The short version. Our apps have no accounts, so there is no account to delete. Everything the app saves about your use — bookmarks, progress, settings — lives on your own device, and uninstalling the app erases all of it immediately. If you want us to delete server log entries as well, email us.
This page applies to Computer Science Engineering, CSE Pro, Learn Machine Learning & AI, ML Pro, Learn Python and Python Pro, on both Google Play and the App Store.
Our apps do not ask you to register, sign in, or give us your name, email address or phone number. We hold no user account, no profile and no login for you, so there is nothing of that kind for us to erase.
Your bookmarks, reading progress, cached lessons and settings are stored only in the app's private storage on your device. You can remove them yourself at any time, and you do not need to ask us.
On Android:
Or simply uninstall the app, which deletes the same data.
On iPhone or iPad:
This deletion is immediate and permanent. We hold no backup of it and cannot restore it, so if you have bookmarks you want to keep, note them down first.
When the app downloads a lesson, our hosting provider records the request in a standard server access log. That log may include the IP address the request came from, the time, and which file was requested. It is kept for up to 90 days and then deleted or overwritten automatically. Nothing in it identifies you by name.
If you want us to delete log entries relating to you sooner than that, email mail@ehsanur.com with the subject line Data deletion request and tell us:
We need those details because they are the only way to locate the relevant lines in a log that contains no names. If you cannot supply them, we will tell you honestly that we could not identify any record rather than claim to have deleted something we could not find.
We confirm completion by email within 30 days.
