The short version. There are no accounts, so we never ask for your name, email or phone number. Your bookmarks and reading progress stay on your device — we never receive them. Lessons are downloaded from our server, so our host logs technical information like your IP address. Purchases go through Google and Apple, so we never see your payment details. We do not sell your information and never have.
This policy explains what happens to information when you use our apps. If anything here is unclear, email us and we will answer.
These apps are published by Prabartan Information Technology, a sole proprietorship operated by Shekh Ehsanur Rahman in Rajshahi, Bangladesh. For the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation, Prabartan Information Technology is the data controller.

So there is no ambiguity, here is what we do not do:
The app saves some things locally so it is useful between sessions. This stays in the app's private storage on your device. It is not transmitted to us and we cannot read it.
You can erase all of it by clearing the app's storage in your device settings, or by uninstalling the app. We hold no copy to restore.
Lesson content is delivered from our servers rather than shipped inside the app download. The app therefore makes ordinary network requests, and like every web server, ours keeps access logs. Those logs may contain:
We use this only to deliver content, keep the service running, diagnose faults, and protect against abuse such as automated scraping. We do not use it to build a profile of you and we do not try to identify you from it.
Legal basis (GDPR): our legitimate interest in operating and securing the service, Article 6(1)(f).
Retention: server access logs are kept for up to 90 days, then deleted or overwritten.
Paid apps and in-app purchases are sold and processed by Google Play or Apple, depending on where you downloaded the app. Your payment is made to them, not to us.
We never receive, see or store your card number, bank details or billing address. What we receive is anonymised, aggregated sales reporting: how many purchases happened, in which countries, in which currencies. Nothing in it identifies you.
Our lesson content is hosted with Google Firebase (Google LLC / Google Ireland Limited), which acts as our processor and operates the servers described in section 4. See Firebase Privacy and Security.
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write. We use it only to answer you, and we keep the correspondence for up to 24 months so we have context if you write again. We do not add you to any mailing list.

These apps are educational tools intended for university students, self-taught developers and working professionals. They are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, email mail@ehsanur.com and we will delete it promptly.
We do not sell personal information and we do not share it with data brokers, advertisers or marketing companies.
The only third parties involved are the service providers named in this policy — currently our hosting provider and the app stores that process purchases. They act on our behalf, or as independent controllers for their own operations, under their own published policies.
We may also disclose information where legally required, for example under a valid legal order, or where necessary to investigate abuse of the service or protect the safety of users.
We operate from Bangladesh, and our hosting provider runs data centres in several countries including the United States and the European Union. Information described in section 4 may therefore be processed outside your country.
Where personal data is transferred out of the EEA or the UK, our providers rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, or on an adequacy decision where one applies.
Because we hold no accounts and no contact details, the personal information we hold about any individual is very small. We will still honour every request we can act on.
You have the right to access your personal data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time where processing relies on consent. You may also complain to your national data protection authority.
Under the CCPA as amended by the CPRA, you have the right to know what personal information is collected and how it is used, to request deletion, to correct inaccurate information, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law, and we have not done so in the preceding twelve months. We do not process sensitive personal information.
Email mail@ehsanur.com with the subject line "Privacy request". Tell us which app you use and what you want us to do. We reply within 30 days.
To find server log entries relating to you we generally need the approximate date and time you used the app and the IP address you were using. Without those we may be unable to locate any record, and we will tell you so honestly rather than guess.
The data held on your own device needs no involvement from us — clear the app's storage or uninstall it, as described in section 3. For anything else, see our data deletion page.
Content is delivered over encrypted HTTPS connections. Access to our hosting console is protected by strong, unique credentials and two-factor authentication. The most effective protection is structural: we collect no accounts, contact details or payment information, so there is very little about you for anyone to take from us.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
If we change this policy we will update the date and version at the top. For changes that materially affect your privacy — for example if we begin showing advertisements or add analytics — we will give notice inside the app before the change takes effect, and where the law requires it, we will ask for your consent.
We will not apply a materially different practice to information already collected without telling you first.
