The short version. You may use these apps to learn, on any device you own, for as long as you like. You may not copy the lessons out and republish or resell them. The content is written carefully but is educational material, not professional advice, and we do not guarantee every line is free of error. Refunds go through Google or Apple, not through us.
These terms form an agreement between you and Shekh Ehsanur Rahman, trading as Prabartan Information Technology, Rajshahi, Bangladesh ("we", "us"). They apply to all six of our education apps: Computer Science Engineering, CSE Pro, Learn Machine Learning & AI, ML Pro, Learn Python and Python Pro, on both Google Play and the Apple App Store.
By downloading or using any of these apps you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the apps.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the app on devices you own or control, for your own learning. For the Pro apps, that licence is perpetual for the version you purchased, subject to these terms.
This is a licence to use the app, not a sale of it. We retain ownership of the app and everything in it.
Quoting a short passage in a study group, a class, a forum answer or a piece of coursework, with attribution, is fine. Republishing the course is not.
The app, its interface, its structure and the lesson text are owned by Prabartan Information Technology and protected by copyright.
Python is a trademark of the Python Software Foundation. TensorFlow and Android are trademarks of Google LLC. Java is a trademark of Oracle Corporation. Apple and App Store are trademarks of Apple Inc. All other product names, logos and trademarks belong to their respective owners. We use these names only descriptively, to identify the technologies our courses teach. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or certified by any of these organisations.
The lessons are educational reference material. We work to keep them accurate and we correct errors when they are reported, but:

Pro apps and in-app purchases are sold and processed by Google Play or the Apple App Store, not directly by us. Prices vary by country and may change; the price shown in the store at the moment you buy is the price that applies.
Refunds are handled by the store you bought from. We have no ability to issue or reverse a payment. Request a refund through Google Play or Apple as applicable, within their stated time limits. Consumer protection law in your country may give you additional rights that these terms do not affect.
A one-time Pro purchase unlocks the content available in that app. It does not entitle you to future separate apps we may publish.
Lesson content is delivered from our servers, so an internet connection is needed to open material you have not already viewed. Content you have opened is cached on your device for re-reading. Data charges from your mobile network are your responsibility.
We aim to keep the content service continuously available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access, and we may take it down temporarily for maintenance.
We may add, revise, reorganise or remove lessons, and change or discontinue features. Where we withdraw a substantial part of the paid content permanently, we will say so in the app's release notes. We may also stop supporting older operating system versions.
You may end this agreement at any time by uninstalling the app. We may suspend or terminate your licence if you materially breach section 2. On termination you must stop using the app and delete it. Sections 3, 4, 9, 10 and 11 survive termination.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the apps are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the apps will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data or lost opportunity, arising from your use of the apps.
Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, our total aggregate liability to you is limited to the greater of the amount you actually paid us for the app in the twelve months before the claim, or ten United States dollars.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
You agree to indemnify us against claims, damages and reasonable legal costs arising from your breach of these terms or your misuse of the apps, other than to the extent caused by us.
These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, and the courts of Rajshahi, Bangladesh have jurisdiction over disputes. If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, the United Kingdom or another jurisdiction with mandatory consumer protection rules, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence, or of your right to bring proceedings there.

If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in force. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. These terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between us regarding the apps. We may update these terms; the version and date at the top will change, and continued use after a change means acceptance.
